But I want a Pink Lady! I have looked and they are had to get here. When I was eating one yesterday I looked at the seeds. And to my suprise they were sprouting. Now I know that the seeds will never come to bear true Pink Ladies but I am going to try and grow them anyway. I put them in some little potting soil cup watered them and put them in a ziploc bag in the sun. I have heard that these "Pink Ladies" are they only ones that grow well in my area because it is so hot (we are more of a citris state) but I still want apples. Here are some resources for you to grow your own....<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 102, 0);">Growing apples</span><br /><ul><li><a href="http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/hil/hil-8301.html">University of NC</a></li><li><a href="http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/1000/1401.html">Ohio State Info</a></li><li><a href="http://urbanext.illinois.edu/apples/growing.html">University of Illinois links</a></li></ul><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 153, 0);">Places to get apple trees or saplings...</span> (you can not grow apples from seeds, they will not bear fuit)<br /><ul><li>Local HD, Lowes, Walmart, ect...</li><li><a href="http://www.baylaurelnursery.com/order/clicksite.cgi?cart_id=&xm=on&ftr=Apples&p=Apples">Bay Laural</a> (takes orders in September)</li><li><a href="http://springhillnursery.com/default.asp?sid=400167&bhcd2=1241965150">Spring Hill</a></li><li><a href="http://www.naturehills.com/catalog/Fruit_Trees.aspx">nature Hill</a></li></ul>Cheap-ohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08197036953237255854noreply@blogger.com2
